Carla Marrero

Born in June 1995. She had her first violin at eighteen months old and at four years old performed in her first concert.

She studies with the prestigious Russian Professor Serguei Fatkouline with whom she had her debut as a soloist at five years old.

At the age of six she won her first Contest and had her debut with an orchestra, interpreting J.B Accolay´s “Concierto no 1 “

She has been awarded a special jury prize in the contest “Annual Scholarships for Young Musicians of Madrid “ in 2002,2003 and 2004.

Even at her young age she has already given a number of important concerts and performed to important musicians such as Victor Tetjakov the violinist and conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Placido Domingo and Jesus Lopez Cobos.

In December 2002 she debuted with great success in the National Hall of Music of Madrid with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra interpreting “Scenes Of Ballet op 100” by C.A de Beriot.

In June of 2003 she performed with the Choir of the Foundation Prince of Asturias in a concert offered to SAR Mr. Felipe of Bourbon in the Real Palace of Pardo.

Carla has performed among others in important theatres and musical circles of Madrid Barcelona, Real City, Seville, Malaga, Great Canaries , Cordoba, Principality of Asturias, Valladolid, Zaragoza, Canterbury (England) and Bonn (Germany) and Krems (Vienna).

She has played with the Orchestra of Camera Andrés Segovia, the Orchestra of the Community of Madrid, Symphony Orchestra of RTVE, Symphony Orchestra of Madrid, Symphony Orchestra of Malaga, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and the Symphony Orchestra of Cordoba.

She has performed , among others, with the Conductors Jesús López Cobos, Adrian Leaper, Max Bragado, Pascual Osa, Lorenzo Ramos, Ignacio Yepes, Dorian Wilson, Inma Sara , Gloria Isabel Ramos, Pablo Mielgo and Charles Olivieri-Munroe.

In December of 2003 she debuted in the Royal Theater, before the Spanish Royal family , under the direction of the maestro Jesus López Cobos interpreting “Air gypsies” by P. of Sarasate. Carla received a ceremonious ovation. Her artistic precociousness was noticeable and her virtuosity unanimously acclaimed by the Critics.

In March of 2004 she interpreted the “Concert in e minor op. 64” by F. Mendelssohn in the National Hall alongside the Symphonic Orchestra of Cordoba harvesting a great success from the Public and Critics.

Carla studies grade school in the Swiss School of Madrid with a total scholarship and in the CIDEAD (Central for the Innovation and Development of Education via Distance). Likewise develops an integral plan of musical formation under the direction of the Professor Fatkouline in its Upper School of Violin of Madrid.

Carla Marrero has been named Musical Ambassador to SaludArte Foundation (US), company of beneficial character that works in coordination with the Kids Found and the Jackson Memorial Hospital in favor of the children, without economic resources, you needed of medical attention specialized of Latin America and the Caribbean. It has just to be admitted in the prestigious one HochSchule für Musik of Cologne (Germany) as a student of the great Maesteo and pedagogo Viktor Tetjakov
